Translate a PDF in three steps

What to do before and after translating
The most common reason a translation does not start is a scanned document. To a computer a scan is made of pixels, not words. Run the file through text recognition first, after that the text is available and the translation works.
If you want to edit the translated text, convert the result with PDF to Word. Small corrections also work directly in the PDF editor. If the file has grown too large to email, compress PDF helps.
