The tool detects typical business card elements: name, position, company, phone number(s), fax, email address, website and postal address. The detection patterns are based on regex heuristics (email patterns, international phone numbers, ZIP + city, common domain endings such as .com, .de, .net). You can edit every field before exporting, that matters because no OCR is 100% reliable. At the end you receive a vCard 3.0 file, the most widely supported vCard format in business environments. Welche Bildformate werden unterstützt?
Du kannst Visitenkarten als JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP oder HEIC (iPhone) hochladen. Für die beste OCR-Erkennung empfehlen wir scharfe Fotos mit gleichmäßiger Beleuchtung und mindestens 1000 Pixel Breite, das reicht für die meisten Karten locker aus.
Wie genau ist die OCR-Erkennung?
Wir nutzen Tesseract.js (das Open-Source-OCR von Google) mit den Sprachpaketen Deutsch + Englisch. Bei klar gedruckten, gut beleuchteten Visitenkarten liegt die Trefferquote für Name, E-Mail, Telefon und Website meist über 90 %. Du kannst alle Felder vor dem Export bearbeiten, falls etwas falsch erkannt wurde, ein kurzes Auge drüber lohnt sich.
Erkennt das Tool auch mehrsprachige Visitenkarten?
Ja. Standardmäßig sind Deutsch und Englisch aktiviert. Das deckt internationale Geschäftsumlauf-Karten in Europa und den USA ab. Spezielle Schriftzeichen wie Kyrillisch, Arabisch oder Chinesisch werden derzeit nicht erkannt, dafür musst du die Felder manuell ergänzen.
Welche vCard-Version wird exportiert?
Wir erzeugen vCard 3.0 (.vcf), das ist der am weitesten verbreitete Standard. Damit funktioniert der Import in iPhone (Kontakte-App), Android (Google Kontakte), Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, macOS Kontakte und alle gängigen CRM-Systeme.
Wie importiere ich die .vcf-Datei in mein Telefon?
Auf iPhone: .vcf-Datei in iCloud Drive oder per AirDrop öffnen, Kontakte-App fragt automatisch nach Import. Auf Android: Datei in Google Drive oder Dateien-App öffnen, „Kontakte importieren" wählen. Alternativ kannst du den QR-Code mit der Telefonkamera scannen, das speichert den Kontakt direkt, ohne Datei-Hin-und-Her.
Werden meine Visitenkarten-Fotos hochgeladen?
Nein. Tesseract.js läuft komplett in deinem Browser als WebAssembly. Foto, OCR-Erkennung und vCard-Generierung passieren lokal auf deinem Gerät. Wir sehen weder das Bild noch die Kontaktdaten, ideal, wenn du Kunden- oder Mitarbeiterkarten verarbeitest und DSGVO einhalten musst.
Kann ich mehrere Visitenkarten gleichzeitig verarbeiten?
Aktuell verarbeitest du eine Karte pro Durchgang. Nach dem Download kannst du sofort die nächste hochladen. Für Batch-Verarbeitung (z. B. nach Messen) ist eine Erweiterung geplant.
Was kann ich tun, wenn die Erkennung schlecht ist?
Mache ein neues Foto mit besserer Beleuchtung, schneide unwichtige Bereiche weg (z. B. Schatten am Rand) oder erhöhe die Auflösung. Du kannst auch alle Felder manuell anpassen, die OCR ist nur ein Startpunkt, nicht das Endergebnis.
