Print a PDF as a booklet, without special software
If you want to print a PDF as a folded booklet, you face a problem: the pages must land on paper in a very specific order (imposition) so everything lines up after folding. Many print dialogs handle this poorly. This tool does the reordering for you: it places two pages side by side on a landscape sheet and sorts them so you only need to print double-sided, fold and staple.

What does the booklet function do?

How do I print the booklet correctly?

What is N-up?
N-up combines several PDF pages on one sheet: 2-up puts two pages side by side, 4-up four pages in a grid. That saves paper, for example with handouts or lecture slides.
What happens with an odd page count?
A booklet needs a page count divisible by 4. Missing pages are added automatically as blanks, usually at the end of the booklet.
